posted in a thread here is a wiring diagram to a dodge stratus...

however those are incorrect directions...oddly enough the diagram for the sebring is closer to the real wires than the diagram to the stratus...

anyway the stratus i am working on is mine and instead of using one of those "crap" bypass'  i removed the transponder and placed it in the column...done it a million times works great...car starts fine with the "blank" key and has for over a month...just now getting around to installing the remote start...and tonite finished the job programmed the unit and believe it or not the damned alarm wont let the vehicle start...

question is....what wire am i not getting powered up at the column, there's a lot there and if anyone knows it would be much appreciated ?

thanks

what wires did you use?  Also is the car cranking or not?  And why did you diable the factory transponder.....isnt that a feature that you would want to keep working?

lol...factory alarms suck...IMHO...and lemme tell ya my customers like having the factory transponder removed...when they need another key it's only 1.79 for to be replaced...as opposed to 69 to 89 dollars for another key...know what i mean ?

the red light in the instrument cluster goes solid then flashes...cranks starts and then dies...

anyway the wires i used... start, yellow........ign, 1 blue....ign, 2 blk org.....acc, blk blu  there is a blk/wht i tried but not in conjunction with the blk/blu.....

thanks

with the lights flashing like that .....you have a transponder problem.....you need to check that transponder bypass thing that you did
