Hey there. I have a problem and I hope you fellow 12 volters can help. I wanted my headlights to flash with my parking lights when i armed/disarmed my alarm. So i took 2 SPDT relays and i wired them as followed.....
85- to the parking light output wire its +
86- ground
30- to 12v fused constant power
87- to parking light wire (have it hooked up to blue wire) although i know that their is two wires and locations for the parking lights
   - to headlight wire (RED / blue)
Keep in mind that the pin configuration for 86,85, and 30 are all the same on both relays. on one relay i have 87 going to the parking light wire and on the other relay i have 87 going to the headlight wire. I listed what wires i used above.
Now that I've done that when i arm/disarm my alarm nothing works. My parking lights don't flash anymore. everything else still works like regular like my headlights and parking lights. They just don't work when i arm and disarm my alarm. I haven't troubleshooted my wiring because it got dark outside. Maybe its something little that I'm overlooking or a wrong pin configuration on my relays. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Also is their a better way of wiring this scenario to have my headlights flash with my parking lights. If so please lend some help lol. Thanks a bunch guys

Some relays have built in diodes-I would switch the wires you have on 85. and 86.Put 12v(p.light output from alarm)on 86 and ground on 85.assuming your unit is providing 12v for the p.light output.
