Hi guys,
A friend of mine recently bought a Pyle PWD531, but were buffled on how to install a transporder bypass kit. The car in question is 2001 Honda Civic LX. The transporder bypass kit used is DEI 556HW. The alarm brain has no connection for transporder. If someone could be so kind to explain, I'd appreciate it very much.
Installation manual for the remote start is http://www.pyleaudio.com/manuals/PWD531.pdf and the transporder kit is at http://www.directeddealers.com/manuals/ig/accessories/N556H_03-05.pdf
THanks.

i looked up the remote start wiring, and i'm surprised. generally, any good remote start has a dedicated (-) out wire just to power up external bypasses and acc. before the car starts. the only way i think you'll get the bypass to work will be to take a 12 volt signal from the ignition wire on the remote start, and use a relay to turn it into a negative signal.......this signal will go to the blue white on the bypass module. this will power the module up hopefully a second or two before the car actually tries to start.           most of the other wires on the module do need to be hooked up.so have fun............im not completely sure this is gonna work, but if its done correctly, it will not hurt anything. let me know if you have any more questions.

oh yeah, the only prob w/ this setup is that the bypass is always gonna be powered up when the vehicle is running, which means more chance for the bypass to fail......(normally only powered up for a few seconds before remote start on a normal system)
