Any help please.I can't lock my truck with the remote.I thought I was teaching a new remote to my viper 791.I opened door, turned on ignition, pressed valet 9 times then held, had nine chirps then pressed lock button on my original remote(I read somewhere this was the procedure).I really screwed something up in the program because now when I press my lock button the truck remote starts.I have no way to arm the system now.Is there a way to revert to factory defaults or to correct this, not much use having an alarm I can't even arm.Thanks.

profuse007 thanks for the quick response to my question.Your cure worked.Thank you.So just how do I teach my new 472 remote to this system. My original remote is acting up and only works part time so I went and bought this new remote as a backup but it has no instructions. The guy said bring the truck in and he will program it but I can't get there till next week.
