Just did a 06 Hyundia Sonata yesterday. Customer calls me today says the doorlocks wont work when in remote start. The transmitter from the remote start or the factory key fob will not work under remote start. Both of them work fine when the car is not under remote start. I tapped the locks right where they come in from the door in the kick panel and not at the ETACM like listed on the tech sheet. Any ideas on this.. Thanks in advance..

What kind of alarm is it? Did you use domelight supervision? Does the car have a factory alarm? If so, did you connect to the factory alarm disarm wire? Let me know

you have to hook up the locks after the bcm not at the switch wires because after the factory alarm arms the switches do not work  on the inside of the car. that the way all hyundai's work it's a wiz off for autostarts but thats the way it is the wires are in the drivers kick panel

That is where I tagged the door lock wires was in the driver side kick panel.. red plug.. I will also try to throw some power to the key sense wire while in remote start.. Thanks

I still have'nt figured out what is going on with this car. Did a R/S with keyless entry which was pretty straight forward..or at least I thought it was. Starter works great. The locks work from the remote starter when you first start the car. Then they wont work at all. The factory key fob does not work when in remote start. I connected the locks right at the drivers kick panel, in a red plug. I tried powering the key sense wire. I set the R/S to double unlock pulse. I am totally lost now. It seems when the door is open the locks work good from the remote start.. and the factory fob still does not operate. It seems like maybe the factory alarm is holding it up somehow.. I was under the impression that this car disarmed with unlock.. I am sure there are alot of you guys out there that have tackled these cars. And there was alot of difference between the 05 and 06 Sonatas.. So are there any suggestions for me to try....Thanks

Well...the astrochart shows the lock/arm wire is located in a "brown" plug in the drivers kick..... The lock and arm are yellow pin 4 18 pin brown connector. Unlock/disarm is orange, in a 24 pin gray connector, it's just below the brown one. Double unlock pulse....    (In that gray 24 pin plug there are only 6, or 7 wires, seems like a waste of a plug) Let us know what you figure out....
