im trying to find the best way to use 1 output channel to control 2 different fuctions without using a channel expander. i was thinking of using a timer relay and set it up so when you unlock the vehicle that will activate the timer relay for lets say 5-10 seconds, when the timer relay is activated my ouput channel will control the power lift gate on a minivan, and after the timer relay is deactivated that same output channel will control the power sliding door. relay configuration like this
85= +12
86= neg.unlock from remote starter unit
87= channel 2 output from remote starter
87a= to power sliding door
30= to power rear lift gate
does anyone foresee any problems with this? im trying an easy way to do this using a timer relay i have laying around so i dont have to order any new parts.

86 = +12v
85 = (-) domelight supervision output (typically a 30 second output upon disarm)
87 = to power liftgate
87a = to power sliding door
30 = ch 2. output
