I tried programming the OM-TOYOTA 1 about 10 times today. I followed the directions perfectly. Put key in, pump gas 4 times then pump brake 5 times. ground keysense wire and black wire off bypass kit, hit gas pedal 1 time. wait 60 seconds, remove keysense wire and black wire off bypass kit. Hook black wire up to ground out while running off autostart... Then remote start, vehicle cranks but will not start.
Tried calling astrostart and they said try same procedure but pump gas 5 times and brake 6 times... Same result. I even tried grounding the bypass kit then remote starting to see if the ground out while running wasnt strong enough... Nothing... Any ideas?

WoW......Astro couldn't help you either...? I have never used one of these. This unit has no P-16 plug? This is normally where the ground and ground while running are, yes I see that they do. Now, the way I read the instructions, did you ground the keysence from the bypass, OR the keysence from the ign. harness???? I believe you are to ground the one from the ign. harness??? The reason I feel this is the way, is because you remove the key from the ign. switch before you start the whole pump the gas, pump the brake part of the install. The keysence is NEG(-), so it would make sence that you would ground the wire. The key sence is orange at the alarm module in the center console. Try this and let us know.....!
