I have just installed a Viper 560xv.Everything works great until the truck sits overnight .Once you start the remote start procedure it go's through all the steps but as soon as the starter kicks in (for about .3 secs.) it stops the remote start  thinks its running but its not.Once you put the key in the ignition turn it on then back off and remove the key , close the door and set the alarm everything works fine it will start every time. I think the VSM is the problem but i can not seem to find Direct Fax document 1094 to eliminate this problem as stated on theDirectwire wiring digram .Can someone please help, Thanks in advance.

where did you go for tach? the green white behind the fuse block is the best place. I have seen similar problems when installers attempt to go to other wires.
Northstart.....or start it your damn self.

The tach signal is coming from the 454T Tach signal generator. Tried the green wire first but the unit would not learn the signal.

You COULD disable the BCM shut down.....wget in the truck and close all the doors. Turn the key ON to run. hit unlock 3 times, turn the ign. off, hit the unlock 3 more times. Then turn the ign. back on, hit the lock 2 times....you should hear 2 horn honks if done correctly.
