This is the first time I'm installing the GMDL-BP from bypasskit.com so I have a couple questions..
I'm looking at the installation sheet and it says, "Door Trigger Output."
1. Am I supposed to be wiring the actual door trigger wire from the vehicle.. or the door trigger wire from the remote start? And if it is from the remote start, what if the remote start I'm installing, does not have a door trigger wire?
2. In regards to the Dome Light Input. The vehicle this is going into, has a dome light delay. According to Techsoft, I should be using all five wires and diode isolate each. Do I need to put in that extra work or is it okay to use the dome light wire?
Thanks in advance.

If you are only installing a remote start there is no connection to these wires.

It would help if you'd let us in on what you're installing, and into what kind of car.

You don't need door trigger or domelight on that vehicle for what your doing, just RED / BLACK/ BROWN / GREEN/ blue and violet to the diagnostic plug in the vehicle. make sure to follow the programming steps.

That's right. No need for the pink, pink/white, or PURPLE / white.
