I am putting a code alarm 610 in a 98 s-10 blazer

In the 12volt vehicle wiring diagram it has a 3rd ignition wire, do I need to hook it up?

second question there is only 1 power lead on the column can

can it handle the 2 power wires (and if needed the relay for the 3rd ing)?
