ok, i did a search and found the wiring colors and such, but am not clear enough yet. i would like a general walkthhrough of how to wire up my alarm as easily as possible. i cant currently afford install, and trust no one around here to do it. i have the 06 tundra doublecab with athe keyless entry that they charged extra for. i have no idea what harness or alrm it is supposed to go to.
removing the drivers kick panel, i noticed that they left the wiring harness in for the factory alarm. the harness has a sticker on it that says "hwaxe04b 9" the colored wires on it are as follows : red, wht, RED / wht, wht/blk, vio, yel, grn/wht, blk/wht, blk, org, brn, lt grn, dk grn, grn/blk. there is a 15a fuse on the red wire, and a 5a fuse on the RED / wht wire. there is also a 4 pin connector that looks like door locks with a grn, grn/blk, red, and blu cut off, and a 2 pin connector with grn and red.
what i am trying to figure out is what are all these wires are to make installation of my clifford 10.5x easier.
ok, here is where the wires from the harness connect to the wires on the truck. the red wire that i believe to be for the door wires goes to a RED / blk wire high up above drivers kick panel, and the grn goes to a blu/red in a grey harness. wht goes to grn in large harness top half, RED / blk goes to blu/blk in same harness, the other re and green (door i assume) goes to darker red and green wires into the drivers door.the yel wire t-taps into a blu wire way up in dash above drvr kick in loomed bundle, and another yel wire t-taps the same blu wire to a relay. brn goes to a blu/red, blk to blk/yel, red to wht/red, org goes to a relay that i assume is for the starter disable, blk/wht to starter wire blk/wht, the RED / wht ties into the back of the red wires 15a fuse, blk is grounded.
the following wires on the harness are cut : grn/wht, wht/blkvio, dk grn, lt grn, grn/blk.
so what i am looking for is a walk through of what wires do what, and what wires should be connected to what on the clifford. no remote start. and with the keyless entry, do i still need the toyota door lock interface, or can relays be used and if so is there a diagram showing how? the door locks seem to be the hardest part of this install with diodes and such. do i just get general use 6a diodes?
the other thing not known is should the toyota starter be wired normally open or closed?

I think you are in a bit over your head....PLEASE, no disrespect...K It's just, this is important. The second largest investment of most peoples lives. I would look for some REAL help in your local area, even if you need to take a drive.

You need to know the circuits you are dealing with, and what they do, and how to read and comprehend the install manual in how it relates to the OE harnesses. Please get some help THERE, not on line...it will work alot better...trust me.

I agree 100%... but if you insist, have someone post DEI's wireing on the site here, and the BACKTRACK WITH DVM IN HAND! WITHOUT DISCONNECTING what the TRUCK wires function is. then see what wires go to the brain and you should be able to figure it out.

I kindly agree too, just by reading some of the questions asked. I wouldn't mess with any of the keyless stuff in there, you won't get any of your wires in the same place. You need to wire a relay with 2 diodes in the drivers door to make the locks work.

ok, i know this isnt like installing a stereo, but i have found all the locations of the wires i need. what i am looking for mainly is the wiring diagram for the factory installed alarm harness. i believe its the rs3200 harness, but am unsure. i just want to know what colors on "that" harness coresspond to what function of "that" alarm. they obviously already tied into the door locks there, i just want to find out what wires they connected to what.
and the shop i called today quoted me $300 to install. said it was intricate. not any more so than any other alarm. i dont have remote start, and there arentt any other functions added to the alarm than what came in the box. he also said it would take 5-6 hours. this sound about right for a qualified professional?

Hehehe... i can do a RS/alarm in 1.5 hours in the truck but i do tons of them. Avoid the wires on the existing alarm, just go by the wiring diagram. As for locks, i believe all 4 door Tundras have factory keyless(never seen one without). My guess is they installed a keyless upgrade. To get the door lock wires, you'll need to do a search here for Directech document 1070. That will show you how to connect the locks(again, you'll need a relay and 2 diodes).

ok, last question. where is the door ecu located, and what does it look like. there is also a piece of equipment in the diagram on the left that wires go from door ecu and relay...is that the door switch itself? going to be spending all the daylight on sunday to get this in before heading to vegas.
and thanks for all the help.

Yes, the door ecu is the switch itself...
