Im trying to find a module that will work with my remote start feature on my 2002 ford focus..I tried the 555s module which would work the first time it was programmed and then that it..the car would not start after I tried again..I got in touch with code alarm and they told me to get this module which I now have but the wiring part is kind of confusing..it has a red for power..brown for ground output when running..which im fine with..its the other 2 connections im not sure where to hook to..it has a green wire for positive keysense input and a white wite for negative keysense input..I have a code alarm 610 system in my car..any ideas to which wires of the alame to hook these up to?? thanks

Don't hook them to anything just use the red and brown.

actually what I had found before about hooking the brown wire wont work on my alarm..I saw it said to hook to 3rd ignition wire on the alarm but I only have  a first and second..any ideas on where that would hook to?

You would hook the brown wire to the active out (-) wire (blue/black), and the red wire to constant 12 volts.

Unplug the module all together and just hold it in front of the key cylinder. Does the car start and run every time that way? You may need to open up the module and see where the chip actually is so you know which end/side to hold closest to the cylinder.

doesnt the car start off the wires that get placed around the sensor for the chip?? it has the wires that are wrapped around the key chamber..or does the module box need to be close to the  ring also??? thanks

Yes it uses the ring around the cylinder, but if the chip itself is right in front of the cylinder no ring needed. If it starts every time with the box in front, either your ring isn't wrapped good enough, or your remote start isn't always powering up the module.

I had to reprogram the module because when I took it and placed it next to the keyring and tried to remote start it my dash light flashed and the car wouldnt start..so I reprogrammed it and it remote started the first time..then I place the module box right behind the keyring, but when I went to remote start it again,my alarm would sound...but if I moved the module away from the ring the alarm wouldnt sound, and the car wouldnt start either..im really lost on this..I had the same problem with the last module I tried..I can program and start it the first time...but then the module would lose the programming...any ideas?? thanks..
