hi all

i installed semot starter in 2005 toyota matrix every thing works good start lock unlock but after 2 days the customer came back becaus the engin light comes on all the time ireset it for him by removing the battery and it worked but not for long comes on again we did reset it with the computer but stil after a wile come on again we did oil change and didnt work to i removed the remote starter completly but stil the engin light on .any help pleas.

What code is being thrown when you hooked up the computer to clear it ?

After doing the oil change did you do the reset procedure? Also is it the engine light or the maintenance light? The maintainence required light comes on @ 5,000 miles and a few other intervals.
