Hi,
I've bought a new dashboard wiring loom for my car and removed the wiring loom for the electric windows from it so that i can wire them up in my car. I checked the gauge of wiring and it only 16AWG, i've been advised to use at least 12 or 14 AWG. What would be the best thing to do? Create my own wiring loom?
Cheers

if it's a newer smaller car you can get away with 16......if it's a big ole clunker though I would say go thicker.

it is a small car, i've put the motor on an ammeter and under normaul use it gets to about 8 amps, only when it's at the very top and can't go any further is when it goes up to 12/13 amps. Thanks for your help, much appreciated.
