I know how to bypass the clutch but the 00 maxima will need the 556u/uw for te immobilizer but that requires the use of the (- 200 ma status output from the brain) But thats also how i bypass the clutch. Is it safe to use the -200 ma status output for both the clutch bypass and the 556u/uw module ?

Hmmm, I just used a relay for the clutch. Seemed to work fine.

if you used a relay, you SHOULD of used the status output of the remote starter or you would bypass the clutch during every start or even all the time( depending on what you used to trigger the relay), not just remote start. use diodes to isolate and split the status output. everything should work fine. the relay and bypass module only need very low current to trigger them.

Hey the status out should work fine for both. Wire the status output to your transponder bypass then just tap into it and wire a relay up like this.  Terminal 85 should be your status out from the remote start. Terminal 86 should be a 12v source with a inline fuse. For terminal 30 you should tap into one of the clutch wires and terminal 87 should be the other clutch wire. This way you are connecting them only during remote start. Just on a side note if you are worried about using your status out for both then just use a negative 2nd starter output to power up this relay instead of the status out

Use the neg. starter output for the clutch relay, and the status for the bypass...this is as it should be...
