8-Pin Main Harness - Connections made to DEI system

RED (+) constant power input: Connect to a fused source of constant 12V.

BLACK (-) chassis ground input: Connect this wire to a paint-free surface on the vehicle chassis. Use a factory bolt if possible.

BLACK/ WHITE (-) three-second pulsed output: This output is activated whenever the BLUE/BLACK wire receives input from the remote start system. It is only necessary to use this wire if a DEI security system is being installed with a remote start. Using a relay as shown in the diagram below, this wire will interrupt the DEI security system’s door trigger input for three seconds when the vehicle is remote started. When the Grand Cherokee’s factory security system is disarmed, the dome light is turned on momentarily. This relay prevents the triggering of the DEI system.

GREEN (-) arm/lock input: Connect this wire to the (-) lock output from the DEI keyless entry or security system.

BLUE/WHITE (-) disarm/driver’s unlock input: If the system is being wired to unlock the driver’s door only, connect this wire to the (-) unlock output from the DEI keyless or security system.

BLUE (-) disarm/all door unlock input: Connect this wire to the (-) unlock output of the DEI keyless entry or security system. If wiring the system for progressive unlock (DDU), connect this wire to the auxiliary output of the DEI system that is used to unlock ALL doors.

BLUE/BLACK (-) remote start input: If installing a remote start product, connect this wire to an output of the remote start which provides a (-) negative output when the remote is active. This will disarm the factory security system when the vehicle is started with the remote start. When the remote start is shut down (input goes away), the factory security system will rearm.

YELLOW/BLACK (+) data bus output: Connect this wire to the yellow/black (or yellow/violet) data bus signal wire in the vehicle.

IMPORTANT! The data bus wire is a wire that connects the vehicle’s network of control modules and allows communication throughout the vehicle. This wire can be easily found at the diagnostic plug located under the dash in the driver’s compartment. This wire carries a low voltage data signal and CANNOT be tested.

The 455J is a Grand Cherokee interface it has nothing to do with a Trailblazer.
The 455J Manual can be found here.

If you are asking if the databus interface required for a Trailblazer is the same as that of a Grand Cherokee, the answer is NO.
Let's start this over...What vehicle are you working with? Make/Model/Year

Then the 455J is what you need. Wire it according to the directions and it will lock/unlock/arm/disarm all through the databus.

Last time I used a 455J it listed the functions/colors on the backside of it. Do they not do that anymore?

Do you have the actual 455j module?...or are you saying that you were sent a different module (for a trailblazer) and were told that it would work the same? If you're needing a 455j module, send me a pm as I bought a bunch of dei accessories off eBay a while back and I think I have a brand new one that I could give you a great deal on. Regardless though, if you're needing help on wiring the 455j, send me a pm and I'll tell you what the install manual says.
