Hai..

I plan to connect purple wire from my 561T ( second starter turn ON), to one of the sensors input at my alarm module....Im using 2 way alarm..So the sensors port are not use...Its a input for microwave sensors...and I not using that microwave sensors...As I know, to make the sensors trigger..it need a -Ve input..

I understand that...The purple wire from 561Tgive -ve output...

So my plan, when I remote start my car...and it start cranking..the purple wire will send a -ve pulse to my alarm sensors...And on the same time my alarm transmiter will receive a signal that..my car a start cranking...For information, my alarm dont have a autostart...so i use this 561T as ad on autostart...So there is no indication on my trasmitter either my car already start or not...

Can it be done? My question..How long will the purple wire will generate -ve pulse...It only generate -ve output during cranking time...or it generate -ve output all the time?

If it generate -ve output all the time, im scared it will damaged my alarm module..and also...this port sensors have 3 stages of trigger...If it receive -ve input all the time...means it will trigger until 3rd stages...Am i rite?

If you use the negative starter output from your 561T to your negative sensor input it will sound the alarm every time you remote start your car. Is this what you are looking to achieve? The purple wire will provide a negative output while the remote start is cranking the starter, not the entire time the RS is running. There is a blue status output that provides a negative the entire time the RS is operating.

Are you saying that you have a 2-way alarm, and that you plan on hooking up a remote start unit?

And that when you remote start, there is no indication on your responder/pager remote. BUT your goal is to get a indication that the car started?

IF SO, no, you cannot use that starter wire to trigger your sensor input of the alarm

if you do, it will set off the 2-way alarm each time you remote start (it will also page your remote, as a sensor was broken into)

The only unit that i know that has what you are looking for is the Viper 5000.

It is a 2-way alarm, and when you remote start, it pages your remote (must turn on "Remote Start Notification")

You dont even need to hook up any extra wires, it senses that the engine is on and pages your remote.

Note: You Always Dont Get What You Pay For.

Yup, I plan to hook the purple wire from the 561T to one of the port sensors at my alarm module..That port actually for microwave sensors..Since I not use that sensors..I plan to use it as indication for my remote start..Coz my 2-way alarm dont have remote start..

Like Viper 2-way alarm with remote start..The alarm module and the transmitter itself alraedy have the built in indication for remote start...

So do u think its possible for me to do that?

If you have a wire dedicated to warn way,

then YES you can hook up the purple 2nd starter wire output of the 561T to your alarm (NO DAMAGE WILL RESULT)

This in theory should page your LCD remote, saying warn.

BUT,

Most alarm i work with, does not have a dedicated warn away or full trigger,

but instead, warn away is measure by how SHORT the pulse is generated while the full trigger is measured by how LONG the pulse is generated. Both is flowing thru one wire, and the brain reads which is short or long, to determine weather or not it is a warn or full trigger.

What alarm do you have anyways?

If its any DEI alarm, then NO YOU CANNOT do what you are saying

Im using this steelmate (888G)...

From my testing using my shock sensors port..The trigger have 3 stages.. 1st stage-Siren Chirp 3 times..2nd stages Siren trigger for 15sec...3rd stage siren trigger 30 sec..

I touch -ve output to the shock senors port...Siren chirp 3 times

I touch again -ve to the shock sensors after 5 sec...Siren trigger 15 sec

After 5 sec..I touch it again...Siren trigeer for 30 sec...

So from observation...The sensor detect 1st,2nd,3rd stages..based on how many times it receive the -ve output..Am i rite?

But i forgot to test..what happen if I hook the -ve output the the shock sensors...either it stay at 1st stage..or it go to another stages...

I hope my plan to hook the purple wire from 561T to my extra port sensors succesfully....
