My 01 jeep wrangler wont start ......even with the sentry key ...I was driving to work when the security key light came on solid i thought for sure the jeep was gonna die but it didnt .....Before i use to get a security key light on when i started the jeep then it went away a few seconds after start.....when the solid light came on while i was driving ..i noticed that after when i would start the jeep i didnt get the security light on right away like i used too before the problems started ....it would come on about thirty secs later...and stay on ...jeep would run..........

then this morning the jeep died after i started it and wouldnt stay running

the only thing that is diifferent is yesterday a had the battery disconnected. i think this may of resetmy system but because the system isnt coming on right away looking for the key it kills the motor ....

I know this sounds cunfusing but basically is there anyway to trouble shoot or bypass this stupid system????

Thanks

Do you have a remote start installed? If you do it is possible the bypass module is active and the vehicle is seeing the wrong information. If you do not have any type of remote start system, then I would suggest a trip to the dealership.
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.
