quick question

I am installing the clifford 10.2x in this vehicle and I have a question

the door lock harness that comes with this kit has 7 wires a BLACK/ white, WHITE/ black, GREEN/ black, PURPLE / black, BROWN / black, blue/black and a purple,  now this vehicle has a 1 wire system and needs a ground and a  resistor to lock and ground to unlock

just wondering how to wire this up

thanks mike

Not sure what the wire colors are or what they corespond to, but its a relay of some sort.. you will end up not useing the 2 wires that corespond with 87A of he relay, ground the wires of pin 30 of the relay and the other 2 will be lock and unlock from pin 87 of the relay, tie whattever one needs to go to ground drectly to the lock/unlock of thecar, then the other you will run your resistor through, and connectit to the cars lock unl;ock...

Built in relays with maybe a drivers door priority trigger?

The wires (in the manual) should give descriptions. N.O.,N.C., and common. Right?

yah they have descriptions

purple unlock 87 normally open (input),   blue/black unlock 30 common (output),   BROWN / black unlock 87A normally closed

violet/black lock 87 normally open (input),   GREEN/ black lock 30 common (open),   WHITE/ black lock 87A normally closed and then BLACK/ white is a domelight supervision wire relay input 87 which I don't need

the violet/black and the violet wire connect with a fuse and then comes out of the fuse as one wire which is violet/black, this I believe will go to ground

wouldn't I hook the blue/black up to the lock/unlock wire in the car and the GREEN/ black wire with a 1k ohm resistor also to that same wire

correct me if I am wrong

Yep, if the wires have a fuse to them, then run those to the ground, and the othere two to the locl/unlock wire.. It really doesnt matter much scince it is a (-) setup but good genral practice would say put the fuse to the feed side of the circuit...   Good Luck!

Take purple and PURPLE / black to ground, place resister in GREEN/ black, then join to blue/black thence to multiplex (single lock-unlock) cable. Don't use WHITE/ black, brown black. What's a 10.2x? Haven't seen new stuff  over hear yet; ha ve you got Wizard to USB yet?
