Just intalled a scytek 5100 remote start the lock unlock work fine when i go to start it with remote it cranks but doesn't start  the security light flashes. i coudn't find the factory disarm wire it's suppose to be d GREEN/ purple in drivers kick panel but can't find it had same problem with a mustang couldn't find it but the remote start worked fine. One more thing i used a key from ebay so i don't have to use one of mine does that make any difference, and coudn't fine the tack wire eather but i know that's not the problem b/c while the car was trying to start from remote i put my key in the ignition and tryed to start it but it only cranks.

The factory disarm wire will not correct the problem. Did you program the key you got of ebay to the vehicle? Its either a key, or bypass module issue. Disconnect the bypass all together, and then put your good key in the ignition and then try to remote start. If it starts now, then you'll know whats causing the problem.
