hey there, as the topic states
i have an 89 240sx and i'm trying to install a compustar CM3000.
-> problem is that i can start the car with key, but when i try to start it with the remote, it tries to crank it and it just keeps turning but will not turn over, i'm kind of lost at what i should do thanks.
this is how my wiring is wired up
brain -> car
yellow -> BLACK / YELLOW (starter side)
yellow/black -> BLACK / YELLOW (keyside)
green -> BLACK/ white
white -> blue
now i got a nice tach signal since the brain chirps once confirming so.

THis is what you should have done:
CM3000 / CAR
GREEN   / BLACK/ RED
BLUE    / BLACK / YELLOW
The starter wire is actual the BLACK/ WHITE in the ignition harness. YOu have the wrong starter wire and the wrong ignition wire. That's the problem.
