velleman alarm not reacting to dome light

Hi! I have installed a Velleman Alarm (SP500B) and I have got the vibrator to work (alarm goes off when something hits the car). I even got it to kill the ignition when alarm goes off. What I can't get to work is the alarm to react to dome ligths going on. It is designed to react on a current drop in the battery (0.6 volt) but the dome lights doesn't create any drop at all from my readings. My car is an Audi 80 -92 2.0E I have now connected the constant 12+ to the alarm to my door trigger on the driver side. This way it gets power when the doors are closed. So when alarm is on and someone opens the doors the alarm goes off. This works very well. Only one quirk, I can only get 9 volts on that connection, and that is not enough for the alarm to blink my blinkers on arming and disarming, and I don't think it will be able to power my central locking unit that I am planning to install today. Do you guys have any idea where I should connect my 12+ volt contant that powers the alarm so that it gets a full 12 volt but senses current drops when the doors are opened? Any help is appreciated.

Hi! thanks for your reply. I hooked it up to the black 12+ that goes up to the dome light, works great now! And now for the followup. My alarm has a orange wire that grounds 500mA when the alarm arms. This is for hooking up power door locks etc. I have bougt a central looking module to connect to this. The only thing is. I can't figure out where to hook it up. I know my audi door locks use compressed air to lock and unlock, but where is the compressor located? And does anybody have a guide/diagram that shows how to strip the door so that I can get access to my driver side locking mechanism? I only find 2 screws on the door and nothing happens when I remove them. Thankful for replies.

Hey, KarTuneMan, thanks for you answers. The orange wire is for the optional power lock module. I have already installed the starter disable which is connected to two yellow wires. The manual clearly states that the orange is for additional components such as power lock modules. My main problem now is how to find the main pneumatic pump/kompressor, and how to remove the panel on my driver side door to get access to the lock. I that is nescessary? Or can I locate the wires going into the door and hook the module up to them maybe?
