Hi I am installing an alrm system into my 2000 dakota r/t std cab.  I have read about the tan and tan/red wires on the ctm, the problem is I don't have a tan wire, I have a tan/red witch is the pass side triger, but no tan.  I have probed the rest of the wires in the same connection but non of them are the drivers door.  I have noticed some post in the past that indicate that both the 2000 and the r/t have some wiring that is different.

I need to find the driver side door triger .

If you can shed any light on my situation, I thank you.

Depending on the actual production date. After 6/00 purple, and purple white NEG(-) bcm left side of dash.

Before 6/00 go to the door pin itself. it's BLACK/ blue NEG(-)
