I'm installing a remote starter compustar cm3000M in a 95 jeep cherokee, manual transmission.
The system has a reservation mode that requires a connection to a wire
that shows negative when the parking brake is engaged. Any ideas what
color that wire would be, where it would be located, or a suitable
negative wire workaround? All else is good with the install.
Thanks-

Not meaning to sound sarcastic but that wire is located at the parking brake. You will see a wire coming off the switch at the brake..that wire will show negative when engaged. Since this is a manual tranmission vehicle you really should not "work around" it... safety and liability comes first.

Sorry I don't know the color but it will be the only wire at the parking brake so it's really a no brainer.

If you need any more assistance just ask.

Wow. I feel not bright.
That certainly makes it easy.
Thanks.
