I have a 2002 Ranger and I have two questions about the Central Security Module. First is location, isn't it located behind the passenger side airbag? And the second question is if it goes bad could I bypass it with an aftermarket alarm? Or do I just need to get a replacement CSM. Thanks in advance.

You can add an aftermarket system at any point.
