Hi,

i have the above remote starter on my 2003 Altima, the problem is i can't get the system programmed(i.e. the remote start feature won't work, the doors don't lock when shifter put in gear) etc

the 'hood pin' switch doesn't seem to work. so i can't program anything. is there a way to program the system

using the remote only? i remember when i was first screwing around with the remote and was able to actually

start the car, but it doesn't work anymore and i can't remember how i got it to work.

If the hood pin is not grounded during programming then it will not work. When you close the hood the pin switch should be pushed down in order for the system to operate. Also you can use the OEM hood pin switch ( Yellow/black At pinswitch behind left headlight )
