I have a 12 liner accuater its rated at 123lbs of lift what im trying to figure out is how use it .Let me explaine it opens and closes fine but what about the few inches needed to pop the main release in side the car . while still being mouted securely..... Please help it looks so cool but with out being able to lacth propery it would be vary dangeros to do

There a couple of options here.

1: Get rid of the latch and go strictly LA. The LA's hold might be enough (depending on vehicle and setup)

2: Create a sliding main mount. Make a mount that will let the LA move just a little bit for the release, then the LA can extend and open the hood. Again the vehicle and where you plan on mounting the LA will determine how the LA mount should be.

OK heres what i did i installed the acuater on the hood so cool! and i also put a door lock acuater on the hood relase but work great but how do i get them to work to gether the hood motor is a reverse polrity .
