Hi guys,

I installed Prostart ct-3300 by myself. Everything was perfect for 2 weeks then suddenly car didn't start w/ remote control. Today i've checked every connection and fuses. Wires look ok but one fuse on remote starter (6-pin harness/red wire/30 A) was gone so i bought 30 A fuse and tried to replace it. As soon as i put the brand new fuse on fuse holder car started to crank by itself. Approximately 15 seconds later car started but strangely i was still hearing that car was still cranking. I have no idea what cause this.

I am not sure but could be this problem releated with remote door opener. Because fuse was ok  before i installed 2 relays for door lock/unlock + 1 relay for trunk opener.

I really need your opinions.

Thank you.

Do you have a starter kill relay?

What is your tach source?

Problem has been fixed.

Remote starter unit was faulty. I've replaced it and no problem so far.

Thank you for your help.
