Hi guys,
I've had a Compustar 2.4ghz 2WASS alarm in my car for a while now which was installed when the car (1997 Honda Civic Si) was an automatic. I have since converted the car to 5spd, hooked up the emergency brake ground and bridged the jumper to let the alarm brain know the car is a standard now. Remote start (reserve mode) and my alarm etc all work correctly.
My problem is, I've recently installed a turbo kit on my vehicle and would like to enable the turbo timer option but when i hit (III + IV) on the remote it will not enable, it just beeps 3 times and flashes my lights as if reserve mode isnt set. I've tried it with the car running (key in and key out) and with the car not running (with and without reserve mode set).
Am I missing something here? Or is the turbo timer option something else that has to be configured by a compustar dealer?
Any help you guys could provide would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

shouldnt the turbo timer turn when you auto start the car it should work off the ignition so when the car is started it should turn on too..
Confidence is the key to any project!!

It's a feature built into the remote-start/alarm, not a stand-alone turbo timer. The problem is that it won't enable (the only way to tell it's enabled is a little icon on the 2way LCD pager).

I assume everything is hooked up correctly because the car will go into reserve mode properly (it will idle in neutral until I get out and close the door which is correct with the turbo timer disabled). But, it is my understanding that with the turbo timer feature enabled on this alarm it will stay running for a preset of time after you get out of the car and close/lock the door.

Surely someone on here has set up the turbo timer functions on this compustar before. Please help. :)

Forgot to add, all one should have to do is press buttons 3+4 together on the remote to enable and disable the turbo timer function, but like I said originally it only beeps and flashes my lights 3 times and doesn't enable it. (It is the same reaction youre supposed to get when you try to remote start the car when reserve mode is not set).

Forgive me, the model number of the alarm is 2WSSR.... I guess I can't edit the title.

Bump. I have an appointment on Monday and I have determined its a programming issue (Manual says: "If this has been programmed at the time of installation") I'd like to be able to fix it myself this weekend so I don't have to pay for the appointment.

If anyone knows if its possible to do without a compustar programmer or whatever please let me know ASAP.

I managed to get it reprogrammed on my own.

And thanks to Tcool for finding me the manual.

you have to go through the option program menus. Go to compustar and look at the install guide for a cm-3000 it should have all the option menus there. For future notice,
"dont ground out!"
