Ok heres the deal... my Clifford Model 50.5x has been working properly for about two weeks now, yesterday i noticed that when i disarm the alarm the doors unlock and lights flash however it doesnt chirp. nor does it chirp when its armed. My remote start works and everythig functions properly except for this chirp and when ever the car is not running the theft light stays on. When i crank the car up, the theft light goes off. Any input would be appriciated.

Thanks , Jeff

When you say theft light are you referring to the alarms LED? if so, and its staying lit up, you are in VALET mode. thats why everything works, EXCEPT your security features. im not sure about that clifford model but i believe you should be able to turn your ingnition on and then off and then hit your override/valet button.
