i had a 2wss installed in my truck, but it worked for a couple of days, getting terrible reception. i took it back to the place that put it in, and they warrantied the remote and antenna for me, it worked (the same, intermittently) in their parking lot, and when i got home it didnt work, hasnt since.
they won't warranty the brain for me because they didnt originally sell me the alarm. the shop that did, is 1200 miles away now, and not an option.
i have a 900fm installed in my car that i dont drive now. can i pull out the brain, antenna, shock sensor, and use the same wiring that is in my truck, that came with the 2wss? if so, i can swap in that alarm and figure out if its the wiring or the parts.
thanks for your help!

The only thing different between a 2W900FM and 2WSS is the antenna and the remote. The harnesses, antenna cable, brain, shock sensor are all the same.
