If you are a dealer..you can get a new one. If your not a dealer you can still get a new one, you'll just need to take a chance on buying one from a web site, and pay way more than you should. If it's just the brain, you cqan simply replace it. No need to rewire. Just relearn your transmitters.

i found wiring info for a 2000 cadillac sts on this site. is it the same for a 2003. also the compustar system has a wire that disarms the factory theft system for a second when you auto start. do i need anything else to make it work like some sort of module. thanks for help guy this only the second time i installed my self. as you see i fried the system the first time.i think what i did wrong was hook the negative pulse horn wire to a positive horn wire.because i had it all working fine till i hooked that wire up.i got the wiring info off here. it was a 1991 accord i put it in . i should of checked every wire with a multi meter. any help would be greatly appreciated

What I mean is....buying from anyone that is NOT an authorized dealer is always a gamble. Warranty issues and such. Buying from some yahoo off the interweb, who is breaking their dealer agreement by selling on the interweb.... I hate it. They undercut any legitimate retailer.  Myself I like to find out whos selling like this and call Brian @ Compustar and turn their butts in.
