First post, here goes: The Clifford Matrix RSX 50.5 has been working fine for the past few months since I've had it. I didn't drive the vehicle for a few weeks and the battery died in the car as well as the remotes. Now I've got everything running again. I have two 2-way remotes. They both send commands fine, but do not receive commands at all to confirm whats going on with the vehicle. Nor do they receive a command that the sent command wasn't received by the vehicle. They seem to act and function as 1-way remotes. Since both remotes are doing this, it makes me think this has something to do with the alarm sending the commands as opposed to the remotes receiving the commands.
I checked the owners manual and do not see anything about changing or configuring this as a setting. I also contacted DEI, but they will not help me since this is a 'dealer-only' product (great customer service!!!). I emailed my installer, but he wont be in until Tuesday and I'm sure all he'll end up doing is calling DEI anyway.
Anyone have any idea what to check for or what the problem could be?
Thanks!!!

ok, can you do so troubleshotting with me with the remotes? I've had the 50.5x. On the remote above the lock/unlock you should have a Tx that flashes when you hit a button, and a rx should flash about every 10-15 seconds. Does the remote flash the RX while not hitting any buttons on the remote?

TX does flash when I send a command. RX does not flash after a command is sent but it does flash every few seconds like you said. BTW Never noticed that before.

Anyone??? Not sure what happened to the previous poster, but we didn't get far there. I ran it by my installer and he forwarded it to DEI and he is waiting for a response. That is taking longer than I'd like though. I so got used to having 2-way, it bugs me now not knowing if the alarm is receiving commands or not.

You must have changed the programing on it by mistake.  Correct me if im wrong but I bet that your remote battery last longer now does it?  You can change the setting on the remote to work that  way.  Look like you have 'page mode" off.  Behind the remote press the program button and hold it till you hear a long beep.  press the star button(remote start buttton) once and should turn it back on.  After that dont push any buttons till at least 5 secs later.  Your remote should beep.  Now try arming and then trigger a zone.  It should work now.

Nope, thats not it. Page mode was the first thing I thought of and I did try this, but it didn't change anything. Also, I've never messed with page mode until now, but by the description in the owners manual, it sounds like the remote still gets command pages when a command is sent, but sleeps the rest of the time. I could be wrong on that part of it though.

If anyone is interested, my installer heard back from DEI today. They thought it might be a programming issue. They suggested to unplug the antenna and plug it right back in. Not sure why that worked, but it did.
