Just a quick question guys. The 03 Malibu uses a single wire to both lock and unlock doors. It says a 1500 ohm resistor to unlock doors and that I must use relays. Can anyone tell me how to wire the relays if I have to use them or can I just attach my lock and unlock (with resistor) wires from my remote starter directly to the single wire in car?

Thank you in advance for any help ya'll can provide.

You don't really need to use relays, but what kind of remote starter are you installing?

Back when I installed Ultra, I wouldn't normally use relays on GM cars that needed resistors. The doorlock outputs are only (-) and rated for 500ma if I remember correctly. Try it without relays. If 1500 doesn't work, you may need to go with a slightly lower value.
