Ive try using two types of bypass modules for this car, "98 lincoln navigator". Directed 1100f and key-override-sl2, but it looks like i cant program any of them. Ive checked all my wirring installation from the alarm, "crimestopper" model CS-2014TW2. As far as the programing goes for the directed 1100f. I get a solid red meaning connections are incorrect. Any body has any idea what it could be?<>if (topFrame.coreLoaded) {document.write(coreFrame.convertshow("",'1'));}

Well i think i found what when wrong in the installation. So far the light would stay on, it would light up for about a second then turn of when i put it on "ON" but, i dont see a green light. Like i suppost to, wich is step 2 on the manual. Step 2 say's "Turn ignition to the "ON" position and wait for the LED to illuminate green for two seconds. Does any body know how long i got to wait for the light or is there something missing?

Try switching the TX and RX wires around.

Are you sure you have the right  plug connected to the vehicle and also try to remote start with the key inside the key cylinder and leave it on the off position.  Now try to remote start and see if it works.  If it doesn't then it may be something else that is causing it.

I try starting the car with the key in on the off position and the bypass hooked up, and it works great. But if i try doing that with out the key in the cylinder it wound start.
