carvox remote start not working

I called myself installing this alarm on my 96 chevrolet and I can't seem to get it to work properly.  The first problem I'm having is understanding how to connect the starter kill relay.  Which wire do I cut and where do they go?  The next thing is the remote start isn't functioning properly.  When I try to remote start it, it actually goes thru the steps it should.  the lights blink the dash comes on and fuel pump cylces..it just doesn't start or turn over like it should what could be the problem?
