'99 ford f 150 door locks

I don't know how to install the keyless entry for my remote start. I have the 5 wire alternating positive door locks. I've tried everything from the relays, diodes, splicing on both doors. And nothing works! The closest I've gotten was when I used diodes to hook into the actuators. The remote works great but I blow a fuse  when I press the door panel switch. Can someone explain to me in detail how these door locks actually work?

Pink / YELLOW is lock

Pink/Green unlock

It sounds like you have the switch and motor wires reversed on your relay. Test those wires with a test light when they are connected to make sure that you have the right wires. Once you have done that cut pink / YELLOW in half, then test to see which side is the switch and which side is the motor using a test light hit the lock button on the door and see which side lights the test light, that is your switch and that goes to pin 87a on your relay. The other side is the motor side and that goes to pin 30 of your relay. 12 volts goes to pin 87 of your relay.  The unit your installing  lock output wire goes to pin 86 of the relay. If the unit has neg. trigger output for locks pin 85 goes to 12 volts as well, if the unit has positive output lock wires pin 85 would go to ground. Hope this helps
