ok ijust did a remote start alarm(dei-563t) on a 99 lexus es300. everything is fine till i remote start it. it tries to crank over and doesnt then sometimes it will the thing is when it doesturn over the engine sounds wired and a whole bunch of lites pop up on the dash. oild engince and some others.if i stop it restart with the key its fine. i firsted used a dei-1100xbypass then used a 556uw. if i put the key in the ginition and remote sart it it cranks over but still het all the lights till i hit the bake and shut down the remote start. sometimes it will stay on or after a min or so shut off entirely. i have to give him the car back soon can someone help me out to see what it is. ialso had prob finding the tach. and i seen alot of people were having trouble looking for that denso box on the 6 cyl. i ran the take to an injector so that should be good. sorry for the long post. pleast le me know anf ifo. thank you

Ensure that IGN #2 ( BLACK/ WHITE ) is hooked up and also sending 12 volts to this wire from the RS unit. Also check to make sure that the main IGN is also powering up properly from the RS.

Check your resistance to ground. This could be a problem.

Remove the bypass that you have now and try to start with the key in the ignition to see if the problem is still there. If it's still there, then it's not the bypass. Now go to the ECM for the tach signal instead of the injector and see if the problem persists.

ECU box which is under hood on the drivers side Look for a 28 pin plug, pin #16. When you remove the bypass module, take the key and just leave it in the ignition in the OFF position. Now try to remote start the vehicle. This will eliminate the bypass module for possible problem if the problem persists & if it goes away, then you found the problem.
