Some guy came in to my work with 99 windstar with a remote start installed by another shop down the road, and said that his theft light was flashing all the time and sometimes can't start the car. So I took the dash down and the 556u ground when running was grounded. So I put it to ground when running on the remote start (auto command). So fixed that but the abs light is on when remote started and runs likew doodie, shuts down restarts, all that good stuff. So I remote started it then turned key, abs light goes out  find the wire that goes hot (yellow). But when i put 12 volts to it the car shuts down. So right now I have his remote start turned off, just would like any advice.  Tahnk You

OK time to test and see what they are powering up, it sounds as if they missed an ignition wire or accesory wire. WHITE/ yellow ignition 1, violet/orange ignition 2 or accesory 2, BLACK/ green accesory and possible to have a black wire thats also an accesory. These are off of tech sheets so what I would do is test each wire through the starting process to determine what is what, then power up the same with  the remote start outputs. My other recomendation would be to redo the entire install because it will be your baby now.
