does anyone know how to reprogram a factory chrylser sentry key for keyless entry? i have a customer who says the factory keyless is no longer working from his sentry key remote.

Check the batteries first? Not sure how else it would just stop working.

i havent seen the car, customer claims he bought the car used, everything worked, then stopped, brought the car into chrysler and they claim the key he has isnt suppose to even be for that car. Im just trying to do some leg work as a favor for this guy.

I just read another post recently about a 2003 mustang owner using the key from an Edge because they wanted the built in Keyless and didn't want a separate key and fob. Perhaps this is a similar situation.
If it was working at one point, I would ask to check the batteries first and then what events led up to that point. Maybe a failure in the actual FOB or keyless entry module... Dealer should of been able to check if the Sentry Key worked as well, however I'm sure the second they noticed it wasn't the "correct" key they sent him on his way.
