I've looked through some older posts and all the links are either dead or the product doesnt look too good.
Im looking for a GPS/GSM car alarm system to use in the USA. (1900mhz)
I ordered one via a chinese company but the unit doesnt work too well so i was wonderin if anyone has any experience first hand with some good GPS/GSM alarms?

What type vehicle and year did you put the chinese alarm on..The reason i asked is because i have one on my vehicle and it works ok.These alarms are very sensitive and is easily triggered by if the vehicle is unstable(grounding problems). What model alarm do you have?

Alarm Model
I got it from another company who distributes...but that is the manufacturer site.
Its installed on a 2000 civic si. Its not that its too sensitive...its the fact that it doesnt consistantly work. The unit has indicators that show it is getting power...if the unit is workin...ect
But the problem is it doesnt always work. One second the alarm works fine and the keyless door unlock/lock work and the alarm responds but then it would just be unresponsive for like 10 min..then randomly cut back on...all the while the indicators show its always getting power and of working status. One thing i did notice is when the unit works fine the indicator light flashes for status...and when it randomly becomes unresponsive the light stays on

gsm alarm
The model i have installed is the S3531(also called GSM-CS).It has remote start which works from the keychain remote or from the telephone.
I import them and have them installed by certified technicians in Jamaica.
