everything is hook up and ready to go, but the engine would not idle and stay running. it shuts off after starting.

is there a passive lock system? if so, how would i disarm/disable it? the alarm system i'm using is a viper 550esp.

HELP PLEASE****

ok...dash lights up...engine starts up...idles for 1 second...then DIES.

can anybody help me out? please?

The truck has passlockII on it. Did you use some kind of bypass module? If not, then you need to. Here is a link to also do it without a module, but is a little more complicated. http://directechs.com/techtips/pdfs/resources/security/directed_techtips/1048.pdf
