I just recently in installed the Micro DLR4 keyless entry system into my 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. The system has an aux output for a remote start, trunk release, power window roll up, etc. Is it possible to wire the output so that it turns on a set of lights? Here is a pdf of the manual and install instructions. http://www.microalarm.com/pdf/dlr4_inst.pdf

You need to use a latching relay. A DEI 611T would work...can be found on eBay. I have seen some descriptions of it say it can handle 30 amps of current, and other descriptions say only 5 amps. If the lights you are using are high current, you may need to have the 611T trigger a 30 amp relay.
