791 bypass for 2002 honda accord

I have a Viper 771XV that I removed from my 95 Accord and plan on installing in my newer 2002 Accord. I dont live in an area where I am worried about the vehicle getting stolen. I am just installing to protect from break ins a s well as having the remote start for the winter time. Since I am not worried about it being stolen, I was wondering if there was a way that I could wire up the remote start without having to by the 791 bypass module. If there is, could somebody point me in the right direction to find a wiring diagram for this, or could you just give me some detailed instructions on here?

WELL..... the 02 DOES need a bypass. So I'm gonna guess....no?

I think he means putting the chip of they key around the key cylinder and doing a permanent bypass.  The chip would always be read by the system though.  In this case I would worry about the vehicle being stolen because your immobilizer is permanently disabled.

Enice, I did it that way a couple years ago on one of my Ford vehicles and it worked great until the chip came loose and fell off without me noticing. I beleive I could do this one the same way, but I would rather just permanently disable the immoblizer. I know it can be done, but I dont know any car thieves to show me. Is there an actual chip in my Honda key that I could cut out and stick the the ignition cylinder like I did on my Ford? I live in South Dakota, so I am not worried about my car being stolen. I just want the remote start for the winter and the alarm to protect from break ins. So can I just pull the chip out of the key and mount it to the steering column?

If you must, remove Honda Badge, there is a screw underneath, remove this and one half of the cover comes off revealing the chip. Use acrylic not superglue, (vibrations will break a superglue bond unless you live in Florida), leave at least 12 hours to set and don't glue unless where you locate the chip you can start the car with the key from which you removed the chip at least 3 times at 5min intervals with any other key well away from the vehicle. I have used this method many times BUT in conjunction with UK Cat 1 (multipoint) immobilisation.

By the way, this is on a 2002 Honda Accord SE. Supposedly this is an LX model with a few EX options. Do all of the 2002's have a chip in the key?

They All have chips.  Get a bypass module and do the install.  it not expensive and their is no point in disabling just to save a few bucks.  Its less for $100 for sure.
