I just bought a new two-way remote for my Viper 791VX. I used the Auto-learn Standard procedure to program it. The only problem I am having is that the unlock button only unlocks the driver door, but on my original remote, the unlock button unlocks all doors. I still have the original remote and it still unlocks all doors while the new one operates identically except it only unlocks the driver door.
Any body know what I can do to get all the doors to unlock with the new remote? I cant seem to find any reference to this feature in the manuals.
Thanks.

You probably need to program double unpulse unlock. The original installer probably only saved the setting to the remotes that came with the unit instead of all remotes. In installers terminology, he saved the settings to 'remote 1' when he used the Bitwrter for programming instead of "remote 0' which would save the settings to any and all future remotes (unless programmed otherwise).
Year, make and model of car? I'm guessing Nissan or Toyota....

thanks JWorm.
2005 Lexus RX330. So, it looks like I need to take it to the Viper dealer and reprogram with a Bitwriter?
