i have a 1995 240sx and put a 2w900FM-S for a manual transmission.  The remote start wont work unless i press the clutch in in the car. And when it does work with the clutch in it seems to hold the starter on for 2-3 seconds after start. i programmed the tach learning and it said it was successful.  On top of that everytime it starts if turns the engine off after 5 seconds or so and restarts it again. its does that 2-3 times. it like it thinks the start was unsuccessful. Any help? thanks

i just had to re program the tach. all those problems are gone except the bypassing of the clutch. I guess it just never was done by the installer, i talked to a compustar guy and he said to search this forum for bypassing the clutch on a 240sx. the guy said he couldn't tell me but thats all i have to do and its usually done by the compustar installers.
