Hi I own a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado and have a CompuStar 2W900FM-AS installed on it. I am wondering how easy it would be to replace it with     a new compustar pro PRO2WFM-AS. Thank you.

When it comes down to it, it's a whole different system. Did you install the last one on your truck? If not I reccomend going to a Authorized dealer and having it installed.

For the most part all wire colors are the same, but the CN2 and CN3 harnesses are now in a single harness. You will not be able to use the antenna from one system to the next either. You CAN program the new PRO remote with the old antenna but it will not do anything other than program.
