Hi, I am installing AGA1201 remote starter with car alarm on my 1995 Toyota Camry, I am facing trouble to locate Tachometer, Door Trigger, and power windows module(so that I can use roll up windows feture the alarm came with). TNT electronic gave me a guide for my Toyota camry which tells following about tachometer input:

on the 4-Cylinder engine, the BLACK wire is at the CHECK CONNECTOR located on the REAR of the PASSENGER STRUT TOWER, on the V-6 engine, the BLACK wire is at the IGNITOR on the DRIVERS SIDE STRUT TOWER

Now I don't know what is Strut tower!! Can some one help me out with this. For Door trigger wire it says following: "to find this DOOR TRIGGER wire, remove the BLACK Plastic Air Duct covering the TOP RIGHT side of the FUSE BOX, this will let you access the 6-PIN Plug that contains this RED / WHITE(-) wire. " and I don't see the plastic airduct cover instead I see millions of wires and don't know which one to test. If some one had experience installing please let me know. [PS: I do have a digital volt meter ;) just tell me which wire to check..]

Thanks

Sumon

The strut tower is under the hood. It's the location that the strut bolts to the body of the car. Look under the fender (tire and wheel) look up. Then look under the hood and see the bolts coming thru. The connector is there.

The door pin wire is UNDER the fuse box, in a white plug. It has 20 pins and some of the pins have NO wires. Top row second wire from the right. RED / white.

Good luck with the windows.
