ok, ,,, need some help here. This is my first remote start install so I am a little unsure of the door lock and arm/disarm for my 2003 dodge durango. What I want the system to do is unlock all doors by pressing the unlock button once (my original remote was reprogrammed to do this but from factory it originally worked by pressing unlock once would do driver and twice everything else.) I want one press to unlock everything and one lock press to lock everything and arm factory alarm. this is what I have found all wires this diagram illustrates and my remote start system i am installing is a scytek galaxy 2000rs-2w-1.
From my understanding I MUST use a relay on a -500mA output wire from the starter system for that connection to work. Is that right?
Second I must have each relay I use supplied with +12v power on one terminal. Right? This is where I get lost... I assume the connection should be like this factory rearm output from remote start wire to FCTRY ALARM ARM|lt. GREEN/ orange(from CTM) I use only one relay and connect rearm output wire from remote starter to terminal 85 then connect lt. GREEN/ orange to terminal 87 and I'm guessing a +12 source to terminal 30? Does this sound right? What +12v source is usually used for this? This is the only part that has me confused as all hell... If someone had a good picture or better diagram for my situation that would probably set me straight.... ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!   Thanks, and this is the wire diagram i am going of of...    also acording to the diagram it says the arm disarm triggers through the resisters will arm/disarm and lock/unlock doors do I still need to make the connection to the WHITE/ green power lock/unlock wire to the lock output and unlock output wires of the remote start module too?
I apologize if i am all over the place here.... someone please set me straight....

Notes:
NOTE: Chrysler vehicles that use a gray ignition key have an immobilizer system that needs to be bypassed when remote starting. Use DEI part number 555C or 555U. *1 Lock is negative trigger thru a 820 ohm resistor. Unlock is negative trigger thru a 330 ohm resistor. MUST use relays. *2 The Central Timer Module is in the driver kick panel. *3 The driver door trigger is tan in connector 2, pin 15. The passenger door trigger (and rears) is tan/red in connector 2, pin 13. Use both and diode isolate each. See directfax document #1076 for wiring information. *4 Arm is negative trigger thru a 644 ohm resistor. Disarm is negative trigger thru a 1565 ohm resistor. MUST use relays. This wire will also lock the doors, and it will unlock with a double pulse. *5 On the 5.9L models use BLACK/ gray at the ignition coil. The 4.7L models have an ignition coil for each cylinder, use the wires that is NOT GREEN/ orange at one of the coils. *6 The Powertrain Control Module is on the passenger fender.

ok, that makes sense, thanks.   just to confirm I do not need to hook up the lock/unlock wires from the remote start module just the arm/disarm wires from the module to the arm/disarm wire with the proper resister throught the relays and I should be good? Or do I still need both?
Also what do you normally use for the 12+ for the resistors, is there a close easy tap in to a 12+ you know of on this vehicle?
Thanks again!

You have to use the LOCK/UNLOCK wires from the RS and then use the lt. GREEN/ orange wire for your lock/unlock & arm/disarm. Use the disarm pulse from the RS and diode isolate it with the UNLOCK wire.

Ok, So Jeff my final outcome should look just like the diagram you posted for the lock/unlock arm/disarm feature and I will use 2 RELAYS and the 2 different resisters to connect to the lt.GREEN/ orange WIRE.
Now for the second connection I will connect the DISARM PULSE from the RS to a relay on PIN 85 then PIN 87 GROUND then PIN 86 to 12v POWER then PIN 30 to a 1amp diode then connect the other end of the diode to WHITE/ green POWER LOCK/UNLOCK wire on truck.
Did I grasp that right or am I still lost?

All you need to do is take the DISARM wire from the RS system and place a diode inline to the UNLOCK wire with the cathode band facing the RS module. This will disarm the OEM alarm system prior to remote start and the diode will isolate the disarm wire from the unlock wire.

I almost forgot about the rearm output wire from the RS. I assumed I connect this to the UNLOCK wire as well and diode isolate just like the disarm wire. Right?

You do not have to use the rearm wire because the locking arms the system.
