k 9 alarm problem

I was replacing a car battery and after that my car K9 CLASSIC ALARM started acting diferently then ussual.Now I can't start the engine because of that. I tried hours and hours all different combination, but nothing helps.Maby someone can help me please!?Thanks

it sounds like you have a starter kill which has been turned on while your remote has subsequently lost its programming. I have had some times when a battery has died and then because of it the remote loses its programming and has to be re-programmed. The only thing that i can think of which you probably have already done is to unplug the brain completely and try reprogramming the remote again. On a side another possibility(albeit rare) but you may have shorted something when you changed batteries and you may have popped your ignition fuse. I have had this happen once or twice before. If you did pop the fuse then you need to look under the hood(or bonnet since your in the UK) and find a big square looking fuse which should say IGN and then replace it if it is toast. Hopefully one of these ideas helps
